Check air and hydraulic systems for leaks and monitor pressure gauges. Verify temperature settings to prevent overheating and examine parison control for consistent wall thickness.
• Weekly Maintenance: Clean the extruder screw and barrel to remove plastic buildup. Check electrical components for damage and tighten loose connections. Test safety features like emergency stops and alarms. Inspect the cooling system by cleaning filters and checking coolant levels.
• Monthly Maintenance: Replace worn-out seals and O-rings to prevent leaks. Calibrate pressure, temperature, and timer settings. Inspect hydraulic oil for contamination and replace if necessary. Tighten bolts and fasteners that may have loosened due to vibrations.
